📍 Coords and Plus Code

A parish church of Saint Nicholas. He watches over travellers, sailors and anyone in need of swift help, and after Saint George this is among the commonest dedications in Georgia.

Rokhi and Rokiti differ by two letters and lie in the same part of Imereti south of Kutaisi, about twelve kilometres apart. Both villages appear in this list, and the churches carry different dedications: Saint Nicholas here, the Transfiguration there. The century of building is not established.

The church is in use, the parish is rural and services are infrequent. Dress modestly, women wear a headscarf. Check the name before setting out: one wrong letter will take you twelve kilometres away.
