The small church in Patara Jikhaishi is dedicated to St George. No separate name has stuck to it, and the village simply calls it the church.
The village lies on the Colchis plain, between Khoni and Samtredia. Fields and orchards surround it, and the road comes from the district highway.
You can come at any time and quiet is expected inside. Modest dress is appropriate, and candles and offerings are left where they are.
