Laz Ethnographic Museum in the village of Sarpi on the border with Turkey

The museum, founded in 2012, is a unique window into the history and culture of the Laz people. Our collection includes archaeological and ethnographic objects that reflect the life and traditions of the Laz people. An important part of our collection are the works of the self-taught Laz artist, Hasan Helimis, who embodies the beauty and uniqueness of this region in his works.

We invite you to visit us every day, with the exception of Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 to 18:00. Tickets are available at the following prices: 1 GEL for schoolchildren and students, 2 GEL for adults. We also provide free entry for children under 6 years of age, employees of Georgian and foreign museums, ICOM members (presenting a card with ID), people with disabilities (with a valid ID) and refugees.
