A particularly notable role was played by the students of Georgia, who won decisive victories in three meetings of the group stage. This ambitious team managed to defeat even Germany, proving its valor in a tense battle that ended with the result of 16:15 in favor of Georgia in a penalty shootout.

It is important to note that the path to success was full of challenges. In the match for the rise to the finals, the Georgian water polo players met with a strong Italian national team, losing to their opponents with a score of 10:11. Nevertheless, this truly heroic team has proved its athletic determination and perseverance.
