Tbilisi is preparing for a large-scale sports event: the Tbilisi Marathon is on the way again!

For the eleventh time, the capital of Georgia will welcome all lovers of running at the large-scale race of the Tbilisimarathon, scheduled for October 1, 2023. According to the official statement of the organizers, this marathon will once again become a charity event, uniting participants over several distances, offering a variety of challenges and joys.

Traditionally, the start of the race is expected near the Tbilisi Classical Gymnasium (First School) on Shota Rustaveli Avenue, which will then lead the runners to a circular distance with the finish at the same place. This means that participants will be able to enjoy the unique views and atmosphere of the historical part of the capital, supporting each other on the way to their personal achievements and taking care of the charitable purposes of the event.

The organizers offer three options of distances for participants: a 10-kilometer race, a half marathon (21.1 km) and a specially organized children's race for children of two age categories – 6-10 years and 11-15 years. Thus, everyone will be able to choose a distance corresponding to their sports capabilities and ambitions.

Participation in the marathon is paid. The cost of registration for a distance of 10 kilometers is 35 lari, and for a half marathon distance – 45 lari. However, the good news for all young runners is that children will be able to take part in the race for free, which will be a great opportunity to inspire future athletes and activate interest in a healthy lifestyle from an early age.

The organizers provide additional privileges to those who register before August 15 – personalized numbers will be a reward for such runners. The number of available places is limited, only three thousand, so it is recommended not to delay registration and join this wonderful event that unites running enthusiasts, promotes charitable goals and promotes a healthy lifestyle.
