Georgian Judo: Tato Grigalashvili and Lasha Gujegiani Shine on the European Stage

At the award ceremony in Montpellier, France, two Georgian representatives of judo were awarded outstanding awards. Tato Grigalashvili, the champion, was named "The best judoka in Europe 2023", we recall that he performs in the 81 kg weight category. The athlete's coach Lasha Gujegiani was recognized as the "Best Judo coach in Europe 2023".

Today Grigalashvili is the current world champion. The 23-year-old athlete already has a silver medal in his piggy bank, it is from the European Championship.
