Georgian football club "Dila" continues its successful performance in the UEFA Conference League

The Gori team "Dila" showed a brilliant game in the second leg of the Conference League against the Ukrainian "Vorskla" and won with a score of 3:1, securing a place in the third qualifying stage of the tournament. In the first match, Dila did not hold the advantage and suffered a 1-2 defeat in Poland, but managed to turn the tide in their favor on their own field.

At the next stage, Dila will compete with the Cypriot team Apoel, which is home to two talented Georgian players - Georgi Kvilitai and Lasha Dvali. In the first match of this round, Dila will enter the Dynamo Arena in Tbilisi on August 10, and the second leg will be held in Cyprus on August 17.

Although "Dila" continues to delight its fans with success, two other Georgian clubs - "Dinamo Tbilisi" and "Torpedo" Kutaisi - could not overcome the milestone of the group games. "Dynamo" lost to the Maltese team "Hamrun Spartans" both in the away and home match with a score of 1:2 and 0:1 respectively, playing in the last minutes in the minority.

Torpedo Kutaisi also showed resilience in the return match against Aktobe, Kazakhstan, winning 2-1. Despite this, the initial 1-4 defeat on the home field did not allow the team to advance to the next stage of the tournament.

Nevertheless, the success of Dila brings joy and pride to the country, and its further performances provide a unique opportunity for Georgian football talents to demonstrate their potential in the international arena.
