Georgian football clubs are ready for matches in the second qualifying stage of the UEFA Conference League

On the following dates, July 25 and 27, three Georgian football clubs – Dinamo Tbilisi, Dila from Gori and Torpedo Kutaisi – will play in the matches of the second qualifying stage of the UEFA Conference League.

Dinamo Tbilisi will go to a guest match against Maltese club Hamrun on July 25, and the return game will take place on the home field on August 3. In the first qualifying stage of the Champions League, Dynamo lost to Astana, but the club plans to defeat Hamrun and advance to the next round.

"Dila" Gori will meet with the Ukrainian club "Vorskla" from Poltava on July 27 on a visit, and the return match will take place in Gori on August 3. The Gori club demonstrated outstanding results by defeating Dunajska Streda in a home match, which allowed it to reach the second round of selection.

Also on the same day, "Torpedo" Kutaisi will host the Kazakh "Aktobe" on its field. The second leg is scheduled for August 3. The Kutaisi club overcame the first qualifying stage by defeating the Bosnian club Sarajevo in an away match in a penalty shootout.

The UEFA Conference League provides an opportunity for 32 teams to compete in the international arena. However, no one gets a direct place in the group stage. Of these teams, 22 will qualify for the group stage, and the remaining 10 will be determined from the teams eliminated from the Europa League playoffs. All participants will be divided into eight groups of four clubs, which will provide exciting fights and an intriguing fight for further promotion in the tournament.
