Football clubs from Georgia have earned large sums after the completion of the first stage of European Competitions

After the successful performance of four Georgian football clubs – Dinamo Tbilisi, Dinamo Batumi, Torpedo Kutaisi and Dila Gori – at the first stage of the Champions League and the UEFA Conference League, their coffers were replenished with several hundred thousand euros.

Despite the relegation from the Champions League, Dinamo Tbilisi earned a significant amount – 280 thousand euros. By moving to the second stage of the Conference League, the club will be able to receive an additional 350 thousand euros, which will significantly strengthen its financial position.

Successful results at the first stage of the Conference League allowed Dila Gori and Torpedo Kutaisi to add 150 thousand euros to their cash registers. Upon promotion to the second stage, each of these clubs will receive another 350 thousand euros, which will total 500 thousand euros.

However, the smallest profit went to Dinamo Batumi, which could not overcome the Albanian "Tirana" and left the tournament. In addition to 150 thousand euros for participation in the first stage, the club will receive 250 thousand euros as compensation, which will certainly help to replenish the team's budget.

European Competitions provide Georgian clubs with an opportunity not only to show their sports skills on the world stage, but also to significantly improve their financial situation, which contributes to the development of the football industry in the country and increases interest in this sport among young people.
