The high air temperature will last on the territory of Georgia until July

Weather forecasters in Tbilisi warn that it is better to refrain from sunbathing for the next two weeks. An unusually strong heat wave is coming to Georgia and the regions.

The authorities urge to observe the necessary precautions in extreme weather conditions. Due to the abnormal heat, fires can break out almost everywhere.

The local environment agency reports that before the beginning of next month, a sharp warming in places up to +38 degrees is expected in the eastern regions of the country.

In the west, an imperceptible drop in air temperature to 36 degrees above zero is expected - the mountain terrain will contribute to the coolness.
