The road to Svaneti is blocked due to a landslide

On March 26, the road to high-mountainous Svaneti was paralyzed due to a huge landslide near the village of Dizi.

This information was reported by the Department of Roads. Cleaning works are now underway, special equipment has been assembled at the site of the landslide (98th kilometer).

Social networks have already published a video from the site of the landslide, where you can clearly see the part of the road, blocked by huge stones.

Traffic on the highway is possible only up to the village of Haishi.

Western Georgia has been washed by heavy rains for a week, which led to landslide processes. According to weather forecasts, this situation will last until the end of this week.

I read this article and was very pleased! It was completely free, which in itself pleases. But most importantly, the article was on the topic "The road to Svaneti is blocked due to a landslide." I am very interested in traveling and Georgia has always been in my plans. This article gave me useful information about the current situation and allowed me to keep abreast of events. The description was clear and informative, and the number of characters was quite sufficient. I am grateful to the author for such a useful article that helped me plan my trip. Thank you very much!
