The provision of 16 gazelles to Georgia is considered an important step towards the full restoration of their population. There are already about 300 gazelles in the protected area of Samukha. The first generation of ten gazelles was imported from Shirvani National Park and released into the samukhi field after several decades. Gazelles are constantly monitored and monitored by the Agency for Protected Areas and WWF to study their numbers and ensure a safe habitat.
