Record tax revenues in the state budget of Georgia: 14 billion lari in 10 months

During the first ten months of 2023, tax revenues to the Georgian budget are observed to reach the single mark of 14 billion lari, which is a significant 83% of the annual plan. This information, provided by the BMG media platform, ensures not only the economic stability of the country, but also the efficiency of the tax system.

The largest share in total state tax revenues was VAT, due to which income taxes and excise taxes. These indicators indicate a significant contribution of taxpayers to the state of the financial base of the state.

Particular attention is paid to the task of the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, which should mobilize GEL 2.8 billion for the full implementation of the annual budget plan. In addition, the proceeds from the privatization of state property in the community in the amount of 103.5 million lari represent the successful implementation of 51.8% of the annual plan of 200 million lari.
