According to the government agency, an investigation is underway on the case of the "loss" of a batch of vaccines. And Sinopharm Sinovac supplies of 1 million doses will help replenish the drug's reserves.

The epidemiological situation in the country at the moment is unstable - the new Indian delta strain has a high intensity of distribution. However, the authorities are monitoring the situation and no tightening of restrictions is expected in the near future.

Also during the briefing it was announced that the Director General of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health does not plan to leave the post.
