Citizens' request to lift the curfew will be implemented in the coming days

The ban on movement around the city at night was introduced from the beginning of the announcement of the pandemic - in March last year. Until today, its effect has been canceled, then re-entered into force with a new time interval. Against this background, residents in different parts of the state showed their dissatisfaction at protest actions.

During a recent meeting of the Interdepartmental Coordinating Council for Countering the Spread of Coronavirus Infection (COVID-19), a difficult decision was made to abolish some restrictions.

According to the Prime Minister of Georgia, since June 22, it is allowed to wear medical masks only in enclosed spaces and public transport. From July 1, the "curfew" will be completely lifted.

    Помню сюжеты на ТВ про эти пикеты...люди требовали отменить комендантский час. Все считали, что он никак не влиял на распространение COVID-19, а власти используют его для достижения собственных политических целей. Конечно люди от всего этого очень устали, как местные жители, так и туристы. Хорошо, что правительство приняло такое решение и лето прошло в нормальном режиме!

      Ой, да я тоже видел такое много недовольных выходило на всякого рода демонстрации и пыталось переубедить правительство в том что комендантский час необходимо отменить. И как же хорошо, что грузинское правительство пошло на встречу людям и все-таки идет на послабления, но несмотря на это все еще необходимо соблюдать масочный режим, который препятствует распространению вируса.
