The law on amnesty for violators of covid quarantine has been adopted.
For a period of a little more than a year, residents of Georgia and legal entities committed offenses in the total amount of 76 million lari.
The largest monetary penalty applied to the violation of the "curfew" - 2,000 lari.
According to the Prime Minister, guided by the difficult socio-economic condition of citizens, the Parliament decided to officially cancel the fines received during the pandemic for the lack of masks and non-compliance with the rules of self-isolation.
More than 245 thousand people and organizations worth more than 24 million US dollars were subjected to administrative and criminal liability.
