The Georgian government has returned the previously canceled anti-smoking rules
Last Tuesday, a record number of newly infected people was recorded in the country — almost six thousand people. Due to the increase in the rate of penetration of COVID-19 infection into the territory of the state, the authorities decided to resume covid restrictions that were canceled in June, said the head of the Interdepartmental Coordinating Council for Countering the Spread of a New Coronavirus infection.
Since August 10, citizens are already required to wear masks on the territory of Georgia, even in the open air, if it is a crowded space. In addition, departmental bodies remind of the current ban on mass feasts. In case of non-compliance with this requirement, violators will be promptly brought under control.
