The house museum is devoted to Lado Ketskhoveli, a public figure of the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries whose name is tied to the history of the Georgian press. The house keeps the setting, the documents, the photographs and the family belongings. Beyond the biography, it shows how a well off village family of Shida Kartli lived at that time.
The house stands in Tkviavi, a large village in the Gori municipality, south of Gori. Around it are fields, orchards and local roads. The village is big, with a history and buildings of its own from the last century.
The house is small and half an hour is enough. The first half of the day is the easier time, and it is better to arrange the visit through the village in advance. Combine the trip with Gori and Uplistsikhe.
