The museum stores materials discovered as a result of various archaeological excavations inKakheti, as well as randomly found objects (from the Late Bronze Age to the Middle Ages inclusive); household items characteristic of one of the interesting and unique regions of Eastern Georgia – Tusheti; ethnographic materials.
Examples of applied art: carpets and curtains, samples of clothing and accessories from Tusheti. Part of the museum's collection has been redistributed to the following museums located in the villages: Omalo village (Keselo fortress, Ethnographic Museum), Kvareltskali village (Soldier's House), Zemo Alvani village (Shepherd's Museum), Kvemo Alvani village (History Museum) and Magrani village in the basilica-type church and Alaverdi.
