Georgian national cuisine - the landmark of Georgia is a private museum of recipes in Tbilisi.
The idea of opening a private museum of Georgian national cuisine recipes came to the mind of an ordinary woman, Maka Kavtaradze. The museum has a Georgian spice shop. The establishment hosts culinary master classes and Georgian wine tastings.
Georgia's attractions are complemented by a multitude of gastronomic places, so to make it easier to navigate this delicious variety, we recommend visiting the Recipe Museum in Georgia - the world's first museum with recipes of national cuisine.
The idea of creating the museum is to bring together old, new and unusual recipes of Georgian cuisine. The museum will feature both folk and signature recipes of modern chefs.
The authorship of the creation of such a museum belongs to an ordinary woman - a resident of the Georgian capital, Maka Kavtaradze. Maka Kavtaradze has been collecting hundreds of folk recipes in her small house for years. Her idea will help popularize national cuisine and preserve recipes for future generations.
For many of the recipes, Maka has already created video tutorials. She worked as a tourist guide for many years, told what to see in Georgia, shared recipes with guests and even bought ingredients for dishes with them.
The doors of the museum are open to everyone, and also open to new experiments. In the museum, visitors will be given master classes on cooking Georgian national dishes, the basics of a Georgian feast, and will have the opportunity to taste local wines.
In the museum shop, you can buy not only secret spices and recipes for them in the application, but also kitchenware and accessories from modern Georgian designers. The most beautiful places in Georgia are waiting for you!
Museum address: Tbilisi, Ingorokov Street, Building 22.
