🎼 Musician, artist, sculptor – Arsen Pochkhua (1923–2001) went down in history as a multifaceted creative personality. He not only played in the State Symphony Orchestra of Georgia, but also created stunning carved works of art.
🖌 His works are the finest carvings on wood, bone, glass and diamond crystal, reflecting the philosophy, culture and traditions of Georgia.

📜 The Arsen Pochkhua Museum in Kutaisi is not just an exhibition space, but a place where his works and memories of the great master are carefully preserved.
- In 1946, the world-famous artist Lado Gudiashvili became acquainted with his graphic sketches. It was he who became Pochkhua's mentor in painting and invited him to take part in the painting of the Kvashveti Temple.
- 1951 - Arsen Pochkhua first participates in an exhibition as a graphic artist.
- 1955 - at the exhibition, he first displays his carved works on bamboo and mother-of-pearl.
- 1978-1982 - the master experiments with diamond crystal, creating complex compositions.
- In 1982, Pochkhua received the title of Honored Artist of Georgia.
- In 2023, in honor of the master's 100th anniversary, a large retrospective exhibition of his works was organized.
