The mesmerizing mural "Mermaid", located on the walls of an old city building, was created by the talented Tsakhnakia Tamuna, known in the art world as TamOonz. Her works impress with their deep meaning and quality of execution. One look at the mural is enough to immerse yourself in the world of the deep sea and feel an eternal attraction to the mysterious mermaid with bright red hair and a shining green tail.
Tsakhnakia Tamuna is one of the first representatives of street art in modern Georgia. Her work became noticeable in the early stages of her career, and already in 2012 she was invited to an international festival. After years of successful work, Tamuna collaborates with the world's leading brands and actively promotes art created by women.
Her mermaid reflects traditional images of sea sirens, but at the same time carries a unique author's vision. The choice of this theme is not accidental: the city of Batumi, where the mural is located, is located on the Black Sea coast, and the mermaid becomes a symbol of its sea soul.
