The church was built recently. The Sameba Temple in Batumi was built back in the nineteenth century, but probably carried a different name. The original church has not survived to this day, although it existed for the first 50 years of Soviet rule. It was destroyed in a fire. Subsequently, a new church was rebuilt in its place. In the mid-2010s, the Church of the Holy Trinity in Batumi was reconstructed, so it looks fresh and new.
There is a monastery around the church. The church is made in the traditional Georgian style, typical of religious buildings. It is richly decorated with carvings, ornaments and frescoes. Behind the church is a convent, so all the servants here are women.

However, there were difficulties in getting a taxi to return to the city; After about an hour, we finally managed to do it, and we managed to go down part of the way. Otherwise, everything is great, and I would recommend visiting not only the observation deck, but also combining it with a visit to the church. If you are only interested in the observation deck, then I would recommend limiting yourself to the upper station of the cable car.

In the immediate vicinity there is a family cafe and winery, where they conduct tours of the production and, of course, tastings. Здесь открывается великолепный вид на море. Рекомендую посещать ближе к закату, осенью, когда солнце склоняется к закату раньше. Монастырь открыт до 18:00 летом и до 17:00 зимой.

Чтобы попасть в Монастырь Цминда Самеба нужно проехать по узкому и крутому серпантину горы Самеба. Сам храм небольшой, как и территория вокруг него. На территорию храма нельзя заходить в шортах и коротких юбках, но прихожане, рядом с входом, могут взять бесплатные платки и повязки. С площадки монастыря можно полюбоваться окрестностями, утопающими в зелени.

Внутрь Монастыря Цминда не попали, приехали уже после закрытия. Погуляли по территории, насладились этой волшебной и чарующей атмосферой. Полюбовались очень красивой панорамой вечернего города.

Монастырь Цминда расположен на горе Самеба. Сюда лучше всего добираться на такси, уж очень крутой подъем. Если получится, обязательно зайдите внутрь, там очень спокойно и душевно.

Монастырь Цминда Самеба очень красивый. Со смотровой площадки открывается превосходнейший вид на Батуми. Будьте внимательны, в коротких юбках и шортах зайти не получится. На входе всем желающим выдают платки.
