Kakheti Regional Development Fund (KRDF) is a public organization operating in the Kakheti region, Georgia, in the South Caucasus. KRDF's main objectives are to promote the economic development of the region (with special emphasis on the Pankisi Gorge region), support refugees from Chechnya, and promote the social integration of the various ethnic groups living in the area. The organization began its activities in November 2008 and since then has been supported by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the European Commission and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Georgia.
KRDF is important for those who are interested in improving the economic and social structure of the Kakheti region. The organization provides support to small and medium-sized enterprises, promotes vocational training and job creation, and works to improve the living conditions of refugees and local populations. Both residents of the region who want to receive help or advice, as well as representatives of international organizations and potential partners interested in joint projects should contact KRDF.
A visit to the KRDF office in Akhmeta is recommended for those who plan to implement or support socio-economic initiatives in Kakheti, who are looking for information about the current projects and programs of the foundation, or who need professional help and advice on business development and social inclusion.< /p>
