Vorsicht, wenn der Taxifahrer sagt, er habe ein Taxameter. Den Preis zeigt er nicht an, und am Ende will er 10 Gel pro Kilometer. Für die Fahrt in die Stadt sind das etwa 200 Lari. Das Auto roch nach Rauch, und der Fahrer behauptete, es sei ein Premium-Taxi. Klären Sie den Preis vorher ab oder buchen Sie lieber über Bolt. Dort kostet es etwa 30 Lari, und das Auto ist besser.

Tourist SCAM ALERT!!! 🇬🇪 At Tbilisi Airport, a driver initially asked for 80 GEL but eventually agreed to 64 GEL. We paid, but later found out a Bolt ride would have only cost about 26–28 GEL — nearly three times less! Be careful and use Bolt or Yandex to avoid being ripped off.

SCAM ALERT!!!!!🚨 They tried to charge us 80 Gel and insisted that Bolt Taxi would be 120 Gel. Thankfully, we didn't fall for it! We booked a Bolt and it was around 33 Gel.

Awful service. They asked for an outrageous $130 🙄. Quoted one price initially and then changed it at the end. Never again.

Try using Bolt or Uber apps for 30-40% less.

This company is a complete scam. They tried to make me pay 100€ for just a 14-minute ride. Definitely not using them ever again.

I had a terrible experience with a taxi service in Tbilisi. The driver switched from the official app to his own app, which was very disappointing. He spoke to me in Russian, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. To make matters worse, he demanded 100 USD plus 100 GEL for a short 15 km ride from the airport to my hostel. At 1 am, I had no other options. It was a really bad experience.

Ужасно. Меня обманули трижды, когда я спрашивал про продажу автобусных билетов. Это такси, но они не против ввести в заблуждение клиентов, будто бы продают билеты на автобус. Это дорого, но трансфер до аэропорта иногда стоит недёшево в Европе, поэтому я заплатил. Парень сказал следовать за ним и открыл дверь такси... Пришлось спорить с ними 15 минут, чтобы вернуть деньги за их ложь. Сначала сказали, что продажа окончательная и возврат невозможен. Но после разговора с двумя менеджерами деньги всё-таки вернули. Это единственная причина, почему я ставлю 2 звезды, а не 1. Ложь и ненужный стресс. Избегайте их!

These people are terrible. The driver kept trailing me in the airport until I got into his car. Right from the start, I sensed something was wrong. He demanded 350 GEL for a 5-minute ride. I handed him 35 and ran off. It's a disgrace making a woman feel so uneasy. You guys are AWFUL.

Avoid this service! They deceive customers. Opt for taxi apps instead!

These guys are the biggest rip-off artists I've ever encountered. They charged me the equivalent of what I'd typically spend in five days in Georgia! They asked for 15 GEL per kilometer, claiming it was a discount from their usual rate of 20-30 GEL per kilometer, depending on how wealthy you appear. Do yourself a favor and use Bolt instead, because these guys are just taking advantage of people!

These guys are crooks. They will charge you three to five times more than the normal rate. As soon as you land, download YANDEX Go. Enter your credit card details and order a taxi through the app. Stay away from these people. As soon as you get off the plane, get the app and arrange your own ride. Don’t fall for these scammers.

Price is twice as much as Bolt.

You can find the official taxis right in front of the arrival area, and there's also a manager who greets you at the baggage claim. The ride to the city center costs between 40-60 GEL. Other options include:

- Independent taxi drivers. Watch out for scams and ensure you discuss all details beforehand to avoid unexpected charges.
- Ride-hailing apps like Bolt, Yandex, or Maxim, where a trip to the city center generally costs around 30-40 GEL.
- Bus #337, which costs 1 GEL per ride. You will need to buy a “Metroman Card” in advance at the Bank of Georgia Airport branch for payment.
- The night train to Tbilisi Central is also available.

Everything worked out perfectly, and I had a great experience.

Watch out for a scam. The taxi ride from the airport to the city center costs 25 GEL. We ended up paying 25 GEL after declining the official airport taxi. The airport staff falsely claimed that 25 GEL was just the starting price and that we'd need to pay more because it's an airport pick-up, which isn't true. There's a 5 GEL fee for taxis to enter the airport, and the ride itself is 20 GEL, making the total 25 GEL. Use the Bolt app if you want to avoid being scammed.
