Many praise the professors and overall learning experience. Despite this, there are some concerns. International students often face issues with visa approvals and residency permits, causing delays and stress. There are claims that the university might be under scrutiny due to political tensions. Additionally, administrative support for foreign students can be inconsistent, with some staff not always being responsive or helpful, especially regarding urgent immigration matters. The university is still growing and is committed to improvement, but I recommend securing your visa before arriving and staying updated through student forums. If you're willing to deal with some bureaucracy, this place can be a solid choice for higher education.

This university is the worst choice possible. They see you as a source of money. The reception is staffed by students who either ignore you or give useless responses. Classes are few, and you end up with only two subjects in a semester when you need five. Some doctors there are racist. The country itself is racist, which I felt right at the airport where they shouted at me and threatened to send me back despite my valid documents. A visa doesn’t guarantee entry. I couldn't even get residency due to my nationality. If you're from an Arab or Muslim country, stay away.

Avoid enrolling here if you're an international student. Initially, they treat you kindly, but once you've paid your fees, they ignore you. Communication is terrible; messages go unread or unanswered. Those responsible for supporting international students do nothing helpful and seem to be there just for appearances. If you face visa issues and ask for a refund, you're made to feel like you're not entitled to your money back. Course registration is a nightmare—if classes are full, they won’t open new ones, leaving you with too few courses. Consider studying in another country where you'll be treated with respect.

As an International Student, I can't recommend studying in Georgia. The universities here are of poor quality. A student I know studying at a university in Georgia is now under a lot of stress. He has trouble registering for classes, and the staff are not helpful at all. Even though his classes started on April 7, he has only been able to attend two or three of them. Despite paying the full tuition, he isn't receiving his class schedule. If I could, I would give zero stars, but I have to share this warning with future students. Parents, don't choose Georgia for your children's education just because tuition fees are lower. Look for options in other countries, but definitely avoid Georgia.

Maia Ghubeladze is completely unhelpful. The regional office doesn’t respond and offers no assistance. They are not serious about resolving registration issues for international students. The college staff needs significant improvement.

The front office staff lacks professionalism. They need better training. They’re extremely disrespectful towards international students, unnecessarily delay processes, and seem clueless about their responsibilities.

The front office staff are totally unreliable and often have a bad attitude when dealing with international students. Some even ask students for loans and then lie about returning the money, which is clearly illegal. It's hard to find anyone at this university willing to help; most staff refuse to listen and offer no assistance at all. They seem greedy, and even simple issues require extra payments to get resolved. It's incredibly frustrating as an international student in a new country to find no support. The university website is constantly glitching and frequently goes down.

If I could, I'd give them a 1-star rating. Absolutely the worst choice if you're planning to study in Georgia. The teaching is okay, but you can find that elsewhere with much better management and infrastructure. The "study office" is full of incompetent and racist staff who waste your time and never accomplish anything. Instead, they blame you for their inefficiencies. Choose anywhere else but here.

Numerous Nigerian students, myself included, applied here; we were all part of the same group. Each of us paid $1,000, which is roughly 2 million naira. After making payments, Nigerians were consistently denied entry into Georgia. Many started looking for other options, leaving behind their $1,000 since the school refused to give refunds. Personally, I’ve emailed them at least 20 times without getting my money back. I strongly advise potential applicants to steer clear of this place—they are nothing but thieves. Consider Russia instead; I’m entering my second year there this August.

Nice atmosphere.

I applied to the university, and the person helping me was initially very responsive, replying within 5-10 minutes. I did my interview and everything was going smoothly until I had to pay the application fee. I paid it, and after that, the counsellor stopped replying. I tried calling and emailing her multiple times, but got no response. I had to reapply because I wasn't ready to give up after already spending 400 dollars, which is a significant amount in my currency, especially since I don't earn in dollars. When I reapplied, I discovered that the first counsellor had deceived me into paying into an unofficial account. Future applicants, be careful—you might fall into the same trap I did. I can't understand why the school allows someone clearly unqualified for the job to provide guidance.

I wish I could give a negative rating. The level of greed here is astounding. There's barely any consideration for international students. The focus is solely on money, and the quality of education is terrible. It's very poorly organized. How can we pay so much and get so little in return? The school is chaotic, especially during registration. You only have 30 minutes to register for classes on the day it opens, and if you're lucky, you might succeed. Many can't register all their courses because the study office is clueless. The registration site crashes because too many students try at once. Why offer more than you can handle? Classes are full even when I've paid all my fees. It's frustrating when no one knows how to handle student issues. It's like being on a merry-go-round with no resolution, from the study office to IT, then to the department head and back. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're okay with a failing system. The institution needs to reevaluate its values before students lose patience completely.

Ужасное место для учебы. Никакой отдел не работает как следует. Сайт выглядит так, как будто его сделали 20 лет назад, и он не может корректно зарегистрировать предмет. Когда возникают проблемы, вас отправляют в IT, которые помогут только спустя несколько дней. Учусь здесь уже 3 года, и дело не в плохих оценках — с этим всё в порядке. Итоговые экзамены? Не так всё плохо, но знаете, что думают кураторы? Что оставлять сумки на улице без присмотра — это нормально. Если что-то украдут, говорят: "у нас есть камеры, можете идти к охране и пытаться выяснить, куда всё делось". А главный вход... Это вообще двери? Когда входишь в здание, думаешь только о том, чтобы быстрее пройти и не получить удар дверью. Жалею, что провел здесь лучшие мои годы. Я и почти все, кого я встретил в этом университете, не рекомендуем здесь учиться.

I completed my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing, at this university. My time here was one of the highlights of my life during the four years I spent in Georgia. The rector is one of the kindest individuals I’ve met, and I had several wonderful lecturers like Mr. Moghimi, Ms. Maglakelidze, Ms. Lomineishvili, and Ms. Kharibegashvili. Although I faced many challenges while studying in the country, the university was always supportive. Initially, some staff may not seem very helpful, but over time I became close to many of them, and they will always hold a special place in my memories. As an international student, the international department assisted me whenever I encountered an issue, and I am truly grateful for that. They are somewhat lenient in their student selection, which might be seen as a weakness, but good students can still excel and even gain admission to better universities in the future. The university values top students, offering scholarships and making them feel special. This review is a heartfelt thank you—I will miss everyone dearly.❤️

I am deeply disappointed with the Study Office. Despite dedicating lots of time and effort, I failed an exam just for briefly looking at my friend. This failure feels unfair and has left me feeling demotivated. As an international student, I was not fully informed about all the rules, and the penalty seems harsh for such a minor action. Education should foster growth and learning, not reprimand innocent mistakes. I hope the university considers this feedback to build a more understanding and supportive environment. The education system should be lifting students up, not bringing them down.
