At first glance, the sculpture is easy to overlook, resembling something from the Soviet era. But the serene and beautiful face drew me in for a closer look. Named Resistance, this work by Dato Natidze was installed in 2023. It depicts a person standing firm against a strong wind, symbolizing change and possible destruction. Despite the force, the figure remains calm and determined, as if unaware of the opposition. The sculpture embodies a sense of unwavering resolve. It's a powerful piece.

I can't quite grasp the meaning of this sculpture. It has a heavy Soviet style to it. The base is just bare concrete, without any covering.
