I reserved Room 9 for 70 GEL, which included an hour in a private sulfur bath and a 60-minute massage. The room looked just like the pictures—clean, modern, and spacious enough for three people. Both the room and the bathroom were perfectly clean.

What sets this bathhouse apart is its great value, cleanliness, and the skill of the massage therapist. Room 9, beautifully renovated, costs only 70 GEL per hour, which is much cheaper than similar private rooms in the Abanotubani area that usually range from 100 to 200 GEL depending on the facilities.

Communication with the front desk via WhatsApp was quick and efficient, and I recommend making reservations this way.

As someone who has had massages around the globe, I consider myself a bit of a massage snob! Generally, massages in places like Turkey and Georgia can be more mechanical and intense, but Misha was truly exceptional.

He was very intuitive, always adjusting his technique based on my body's responses. For example, he used quick, small circular motions to gently ease tight muscles. When he found a knot, he would change his hand position and apply targeted pressure with subtle oscillating movements to relieve tension. After loosening the muscles, he shifted to long, flowing strokes, making the entire massage feel cohesive and balanced. Each movement felt intentional rather than routine.

Misha is a remarkably skilled massage therapist, and his technique stands out from the many massages I've had over the years.

I booked room number 6 for an hour with my boyfriend, and we were both really pleased. We love Japanese onsens and sentōs, so we were excited to enjoy the hot water, and this spa met our expectations. The staff was friendly, and we had the option to rent or buy everything we needed. The room wasn't perfectly clean, but it was acceptable, and given the price, I have no complaints. I highly recommend this spa for anyone looking to relax privately and enjoy sulfur baths.

Ein wunderbares Erlebnis im Schwefelbad in Tiflis! Der private Raum war sehr angenehm, und es gab ein Glas Wein sowie eine Sauna – ideal zum Entspannen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der hervorragende Service: Wir wurden abgeholt und nach dem Besuch wieder zurückgebracht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Atmosphäre entspannt. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Overpriced Rip-off! Very Disappointing Experience (Visited on June 17, 2026)
I booked a "Luxury Sulfur Bath Ritual" for June 17, 2026, and it turned out to be the worst and most overpriced part of my trip. I feel it's important to warn others so you don't fall for this scam.
The place looks nothing like the stunning photos in the app. The interior is old and cheap—it definitely doesn't feel worth $100, let alone what they actually charged.
They advertise a "private pickup/drop-off service," but they just hailed a regular Bolt taxi for us. Anyone can see how cheap taxi fares are in Tbilisi, and this basic fare is included in their ridiculous pricing.
The listing claims a "2-Hour Experience," which made me think we'd have 2 hours of spa time. Instead, they counted the time for travel and a quick wine tasting in that 2 hours. We only got 1 hour in the spa.
To make matters worse, we had to wait an additional 30 minutes to enter, cutting into our time.
Their pricing is unfair and feels like extortion. They initially wanted an outrageous $480 for 2 people ($240 each). When we realized the place was not worth it and requested to switch to a 1-hour session, they refused, stating "changes are impossible because you agreed to 2 hours." In the end, we had to pay an extra $170 on top of the $195 we had already spent.
The service was terrible, and the facilities were lacking. We asked for iced tea instead of wine, and they agreed at first but then said they had no ice when we arrived. There was also no hairdryer or changing area. Basic amenities were missing.
For comparison, standard premium sulfur baths in Tbilisi cost around $80 per hour. If you check local spas, a private room with hot/cold pools for 2–3 people is only about 150 GEL (around $55 USD) per hour.
If you want a 2-hour experience, you can easily call a Bolt taxi yourself, buy a nice bottle of wine, and book directly with the spa for around $110 - $160 total. Booking this package means you're paying three times more for a severely downgraded experience.
Avoid this place and save your money!

חוויה מאוד טובה במחיר סביר. טיפולים עולים בין 80-100 לארי וכוללים מגבת. המקום קצת ישן, אבל נקי ומסודר. הקירצוף היה מצוין. יש המון חדרים, כך שניתן להפריד בין נשים וגברים ויש פרטיות. תודה.

We had an amazing experience at the sulfur spa in Tbilisi. The staff greeted us with warmth and made us feel at home. They were friendly, polite, and very helpful during our time there.
