Museum, library and art gallery "House of Niko Dadiani" in Zugdidi

The Niko Dadiani House Museum, Library and Art Gallery in Zugdidi is a unique cultural space located in the historical house of Niko Dadiani. Unlike the neighboring Ekaterina Dadiani Palace, this museum is dedicated to art and literature, giving visitors the opportunity to view the works of famous and little-known artists. Here you can also see paintings of familiar places in Georgia, created by artists a century ago.

The museum houses Niko Dadiani's library, which displays books popular among the nobility of that era. Some books are open, which allows you to see what the nobility read, for example, the works of Saltykov-Shchedrin.

In addition to the permanent exhibition, the museum hosts temporary exhibitions. At the moment, an exhibition of color photographs of Georgia taken by the famous photographer Prokudin-Gorsky at the end of the 19th century is being mounted.

The museum is open from 11:00 to 18:00, but sometimes may be closed earlier. If the doors are closed, feel free to knock and the guard will most likely open it for you. Admission is free.
