Car rental "TBILISICAR"

This service is a scam. They are deceitful. I paid a $200 deposit to rent a car, and they promised to return it within three weeks, but I still haven’t received anything! They are expert swindlers! It’s unbelievable that the Georgian government still lets this business operate! BEWARE!

I rented a Toyota Prius, and the experience had its ups and downs. The car itself was in great shape, clean, and ready for the journey. The rental process was straightforward, but it was the staff's professionalism and preparedness that stood out. They had all the paperwork done in advance, which was a time-saver. For an extra fee, they were punctual with delivery and pickup. While the service was generally good, a bit more attention to detail could make it even better.

У меня была только проколотая шина, и я заменил её на новую за собственные деньги. Когда он не нашёл никаких проблем, начал утверждать, что нужно купить ещё две новые шины для баланса, чего я никогда не слышал. Я арендовал авто во многих странах. Из-за прокола он забрал 200 долларов, а полиция поддержала его, потому что не говорит на английском. Такие деньги не остаются, они тратятся на лекарства и больницы. У меня было 3-4 друга, которым я мог бы порекомендовать его, если бы он вёл себя хорошо, но теперь — ни за что. Они зарабатывают в краткосрочной перспективе, но теряют всё, не видя общей картины. Клиенты заслуживают лучшего сервиса, а не обмана. Самостоятельное вождение — отличный опыт, но только не с ним. Вы будете сожалеть. ДЕРЖИТЕСЬ ПОДАЛЬШЕ от этих мошенников, оценка ниже нуля. 👎👎👎

These con artists operate right at the airport and know exactly how to pull off their scam. They take a $200 deposit from customers and promise to refund it within 10 days after returning the car, but you never see that money again. They've even changed the name of their booth because of all the negative feedback. From the start, I sensed they had no intention of returning my deposit. I waited and tried to give them a chance, but eventually had to involve the police to deal with these crooks. The woman at the counter was completely shameless. It's a pity, considering how friendly most Georgians are, yet these fraudsters give the country a bad name. Previously, I rented a car from a local dealer in Tbilisi who also attempted a money grab, but I went straight to the police and got my money back. This company preys on foreigners, assuming once they're back home, they won't return. But I'm planning to come back soon with the police to claim my deposit and any additional costs for that trip. I'm even considering filing a case in the European Consumer Court. As a YouTuber, I'm making a documentary on this scam to warn tourists about this company. If others have been scammed, reach out to me and join me in exposing this fraud at the airport. UPDATE: I managed to get my deposit back through my credit card company after raising a dispute and providing evidence, including a chat with the scammers and rental documents promising a full refund. It was clear they never planned to return the money, hoping people wouldn't take action from abroad, but I did. Never trust a rental company with cash, always use a credit card for proof. I still plan to visit Tbilisi again soon just to involve the police in this matter.

The experience with this car rental agency was awful. They handle their business very unprofessionally and show no responsibility for their actions. After almost two months, they still haven't returned the deposit of 200 USD and keep coming up with excuses. It's surprising that the authorities allow such scammers to operate at the airport. Their company should be shut down. It's disgraceful to make money this way. The earnings they feed on are tainted. They reflect poorly on their country. In short, steer clear of this car rental agency.

I was promised a $200 USD deposit refund after returning the car, but they came up with all sorts of excuses related to insurance and other nonsense to avoid paying it back. The company thrives on scamming people instead of honest service. I trusted them because they were at the airport, but that was a mistake. They ignored my messages on WhatsApp, responding only when I contacted them from a new number. This operation is run by people who are nothing but crooks and lack any integrity. I regret not crashing their Range Rover more severely, knowing what I know now. They continue their scammy ways, pocketing petty cash.

Terrible service. Все машины в ужасном состоянии. Я арендовал Range Rover Sport и поехал в отель. По дороге двигатель издавал ужасные звуки, а коробка передач переключалась рывками. Утром попытался обменять машину, но оказалось, что все их машины такие. Попросил вернуть деньги — отказали. Потерял $1000 за аренду на 10 дней, но потом нашел другую компанию. Боялся, что машина сломается в горах. Деньги не вернули, вернули только залог. Предложил хотя бы половину вернуть — отказали.

ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED!!! It's a complete scam. These people are nothing but thieves! They stole $200 from me. They kept my deposit, promising to return it by transfer the next day. That never happened! We even called the police, but never saw a penny back. There were others facing the same issue. This place should be shut down permanently! Once we were back home, we tried contacting them again, only to be told that they would return the money if we removed our negative reviews. Up to now... NOTHING. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Отвратительное обслуживание и мошенничество. Настаивают на внимательности, если вынужден взять машину. Обязательно фотографируйте все. Арендовал авто в Тбилиси для поездки в Батуми, и когда возвращал, устроили 30-минутное шоу. Страховку списали на выдумшую проблему с камушком. Не рекомендую. Лучше обратиться в международные компании.

All the people we encountered in Georgia were welcoming and friendly to foreigners. However, this car rental company is an exception. They deceive their clients. The condition of their cars is beyond words. If you decide to rent a car from them, make sure to pay only after inspecting the vehicle! This is a tough lesson I learned! Furthermore, don’t expect to get your entire deposit back. They’ll find various reasons to keep part of it. They promised a cash deposit return but failed to deliver. They also assured us that cars could be swapped effortlessly, even in Tbilisi. When our car broke down, their promises turned out to be lies. They ignored our messages and were rude. Their rates are lower than other companies, which lures you in. Once you notice issues with the car, they assure you it’s fine, but later, they blame you for the damages and deduct from your deposit. Eventually, we switched to another rental company, and the experience was much better.

Я арендовал автомобили в более чем семи странах, и это был мой худший опыт. Оценил бы ниже нуля, если бы мог. Когда прибыл в международный аэропорт Тбилиси, хотел арендовать машину на 8 дней. Почти все пункты аренды были пусты, хотя я приехал в 9:30 утра. Единственное место, где кто-то был, оказалось здесь. Мы договорились о машине с залогом 200 долларов. Мне сказали, что если я заплачу залог наличными, при возврате машины его тоже вернут в наличной форме. Но когда я вернул машину, мне сообщили, что компания ждёт три дня для проверки на новые штрафы. Я указал, что это не то, что мне говорили раньше, но человек сделал вид, что не говорит по-английски. Потом сказал, что надо ждать, пока государство не выставит штрафы через три дня. Человек вёл себя непрофессионально, попросил написать банковские реквизиты на маленькой бумажке. Я чувствовал себя некомфортно из-за такого обслуживания и манеры общения. У меня не было времени спорить, так как мне нужно было успеть на рейс. Через три дня я написал в компанию, ответа не было. Потом ответили, что мойка обошлась в 260 лари и есть мелкие царапины. Всё это "встало" ровно в 200 долларов, иными словами, про залог можно забыть. Это была важная жизненная урок для меня. Есть много надёжных компаний, не повторяйте мою ошибку. تعاملهم جداً سيئ. لاانصح فيهم ابدا. لن يعيدوا لكم مبلغ التامين وسوف يتهمونكم باي خلل في السياره. ابحثوا عن شركات اخرى واحجزوا مسبقا قبل وصولكم الى الدولة. بالتوفيق.

Rented a car for 20 days and paid a $200 deposit along with the rental fee. They demand this deposit, but good luck getting it back. They’ll use full insurance as an excuse to keep your deposit, pointing out tiny scratches or whatever to justify it, saying the insurance company isn't available even if it’s a regular weekday. Sometimes they'll claim that the damage costs more than the deposit and demand more money, threatening to call the police. It's just a scare tactic since they know they won't win, but if you're rushing for a flight, you won't have time to argue. AVOID THESE SCAMMERS. BEWARE AND STAY AWAY.

Rented a car last month, and it had a terrible tire on the left side. I recorded it and sent the video to the agent, who was a woman. A guy at the shop explained on video that it happened when I left Batumi. When I returned the car, they refused to reimburse me for fixing that tire. Really bad company. I don’t recommend it.
