Лёгкий запах старины и покой – вот что находишь в таких местах. Внутренние покрасочные слои все ещё скрывают оставшиеся следы времени. Молча, под давлением этих веков и истории вокруг, забываешь все свои текущие задачи и просто наблюдаешь. Это очень интересно: над входной дверью в церковь имеется надпись, которая не выгравирована, как везде, а рельефная, то есть вокруг нее выгравирован весь камень.

ეს ეკლესია, რომელიც IX-X საუკუნეებში აშენდა, განლაგებულია შიდა ქართლის მხარეში, კასპის მუნიციპალიტეტში. კასპიდან სამხრეთ-დასავლეთით 10 კილომეტრში, სოფელ გარიყულას სამხრეთით, ძველ სასაფლაოზე მდებარეობს. მხედველობაში მუდამ ყოფნის ისტორიული ატმოსფერო და შენობის არქიტექტურული სიმარტივე, თუმცა რთულია ადგილსამყოფელთან მისასვლელი გზა.

This church is a hall church, dating back to the 9th-10th centuries. In 1957, the scientific workshop restored the roof. The building is made of rough stone and sandstone, and tuff is also used. The entrance is from the south. The interior is plastered and features two layers of paintings.
