Double-layered walls shield a quiet courtyard—ideal for pitching a tent and cozying up by a campfire. A safe, winding path leads to a citadel with breathtaking valley views. Watch your step, especially post-rain. There's a thrill to the tiny entrance in the main tower, but summer’s growth might need a machete for access. For a true explorer’s hideout, it's a hidden gem.

My experience was far from pleasant. The moment I stepped inside, I was hit with a strong, musty smell that never went away. It felt like no one took care of this place for ages. The atmosphere was supposed to be historic and charming, but I felt more like I was stepping into neglected ruins. No effort seemed to have been made to keep things tidy or welcoming. It left me disappointed and wishing I'd spent my time elsewhere.

The view from the top is otherworldly. Imagine a panorama that makes time stand still. Stepping onto that third floor, I felt like I was floating. The climb is a journey but reaching the summit is like opening a portal to another time, another world. Every stone, every gust of wind tells a story lost in the echoes of history. If you're not afraid of heights and are ready for a bit of a leg workout, this spot gives you a direct ticket to one of the best vistas I've ever experienced.

Стоило преодолеть все трудности пути, чтобы там оказаться. Величественные стены и потрясающий вид с высоты наполнили меня благоговением. Минуты тишины и покоя среди вековых камней стали настоящим подтверждением сказочных легенд о грузинских крепостях. Эмоции зашкаливали, словно я сама стала частью истории. Идти туда стоит, особенно если вы любите открывать скрытые жемчужины и наслаждаться красивыми панорамами.

Выглядит скромно, но под обаянием древности скрыты настоящие сокровища. Полазить по стенам, увидеть раскопки, узнать о древнем водопроводе – это настоящее путешествие сквозь время. Стенды на русском языке очень помогают, а в небольшом музее можно найти что-то действительно ценное. Быть здесь – словно прикоснуться к живой истории. Добраться легко на маршрутке с надписью "Gogia".

Потрясающий вид, душевные местные жители, которые охотно показывают старинные дома. Только будь осторожен с монашками - хитрости не занимать.

Довольно красивое место с замечательным видом, особенно если удастся забраться повыше. Однако пешком добираться не так уж просто. Тропа на вершину может запутать, особенно если свернуть не туда. Найти дорогу проще автостопом, но и тут не без приключений. К тому же, обойтись без крепкой обуви я бы не советовала – местность гористая и каменистая. Впечатления неплохие, но ожидала больше организации маршрутов.

Потрепанное время, величие в руинах. Развалины больше напоминают о былой славе, чем радуют глаз. Реставрацией тут и не пахнет, хотя вид с вершины изумляет. Будьте готовы к встрече с местными змеями, маршрут — не для слабонервных водителей.

Заброшенная красота, упакованная в беспорядок. Заросшее великолепие и грубоватая дорога без намёка на удобства. Зашёл и увидел коров среди остатков прошлых веков. Важно знать: мусор, а парковаться придётся на вытоптанной полянке. Место не лишено мощного шарма, но состояние плачевное.

Если хочется ощутить дух старины и прикоснуться к истории — это место просто идеальное. Расположение у слияния двух рек добавляет какой-то магический шарм. Большой зал внутри впечатляет своей величественностью. Однозначно стоит посетить!

Не очень большая крепость, в хорошей сохранности. Зимой можно забраться в укромные уголки. С крепости открывается вид на долину Ингури и Абхазию. 5 минут от центра Зугдиди, обязательно нужно заехать

The 17th century fortress, surrounded by greenery, is well preserved, but requires minimal effort to put the place in order. Very close to Zugdidi. Be sure to feed the puppies nearby. I recommend visiting!
