Mural "Georgian ornament", by Tina Chertova

This impressive mural on a multi-storey building in Kutaisi is made in traditional Georgian style and is full of folk ornaments. The work was created by artist Tina Chertova, who conveys the cultural heritage of Georgia through her images.

The main color is bright blue, which symbolizes heaven and purity. Against a blue background, patterns reminiscent of national motifs are applied in white. The central elements on the facade were images of ancient Georgian architecture and traditional symbols. The details of the ornament seem as if embroidered; each of them carries an important symbolic meaning associated with the history and culture of the country.
