Mural "Trust", by Innerfields
- Description
The mural called "Trust" was created in 2020 by the art group Innerfields as part of the KIU Mural Fest street art festival. It is located at the end of the building of Kutaisi International University.
This monumental drawing explores the theme of trust through the symbolic interaction of two figures. On the left is a young girl with her hands down, deep in thought. Her gaze is directed downward, emphasizing a moment of vulnerability or anticipation. Opposite her is a figure in dark clothes with a white face, reminiscent of a mask or statue, who looks directly at the viewer with a slight half-smile. The contrast between the lively, emotional image of the girl and the static, mysterious face of the opposite character creates a tense and mysterious atmosphere.
The mural touches on deep questions about trust, intimacy and human relationships. The strict lines of the building's architecture are successfully woven into the composition, where the windows play the role of unique boundaries separating the worlds of these two characters.
This mural not only decorates the building, but also invites passersby to think about the role of trust in their lives, about how we interact with the world around us and with the people around us.
