Guest house "Gegi"

The host, Gege, is incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming. He assisted us with arranging our airport transfer for an early morning departure and offered us his homemade wine and chacha, which is a local spirit. Although he speaks Russian, he communicated effectively with us using a translation app on his phone. The room was spacious and comfortable, complete with a large living room and a separate bathroom. Everything was in perfect order, and we highly recommend this place. There is a store nearby, and the city center is easily accessible. The accommodation is located on a hill near the Bagrati Cathedral, so if one prefers not to walk, a taxi can take you there for a few lari. Important to note, it is not on the town side of Chanchibadze Street (Kazbegi Street), but a little farther along.

Да, обстановка довольно скромная, но для меня это настоящий плюс: здесь чувствуется душевность и уют, будто вернулся в деревню к бабушке. А вокруг — просто энергия природы, идеальное место для душевного отдыха и размышлений.

Одним из плюсов гестхауса, в который я остановился, была его аутентичность. Каждая деталь интерьера воссоздавала атмосферу старинного грузинского дома. Очень впечатлился гостеприимством хозяев.

Очень уютный гостевой дом с замечательной семейной атмосферой. Хозяева проявили огромное внимание ко всем нашим просьбам, встретили нас на вокзале и помогли организовать поездку в следующий город. Также угостили нас домашним вином и фруктами из своего сада. Номера просторные, удобные, хорошо оснащенные и приятно оформленные. Место расположения тихое, и в то же время недалеко от исторического центра.

The host, Jubi, is very kind and helpful. The place is located on a farm, and while the building is old and the furniture is quite basic, it is a charming experience overall. In general, Kutaisi itself may not warrant an overnight stay for everyone, but the nearby cave and the stunning Martvili waterfalls can be explored in about two hours.

We spent three nights here and received a complimentary room upgrade. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed. The shower had excellent water pressure and temperature. Although the host didn't speak English, he made an effort using Google Translate. He also brought us fresh fruit daily. Our stay was very enjoyable, and we highly recommend it!

The rooms were spotless, and the host was incredibly accommodating. He picked us up from the airport and assisted us throughout our trip in Georgia. He even gave us one of his other mobile phones for emergencies when traveling in different cities. The guest house is situated close to the center. There’s a lovely view and it’s very peaceful. The breakfast was delicious, and the wine was excellent. I'm definitely planning to return next year. 🙂

Basic and simple yet beautiful accommodation. The hosts were very hospitable. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a shot of chacha and a jug of homemade wine. The owner also packed some for us to take away. On the ground floor, there was a small room with a bathroom, and on the first floor, there were two rooms with three beds each, along with a living room and a bathroom. Thank you very much.

The location is stunning with a garden and a very tranquil atmosphere. We have a great view. The owner does everything possible to ensure our comfort. It's the best place I've stayed in Georgia 🇬🇪. I travel the world with my motorbike and my cat, and for me, the human touch, simplicity, and authenticity are crucial 🙏🏻 It feels like home 🏠 I'm very happy to be here. I ended up staying longer than planned.
