If you are wondering what to see in Georgia, this short review is for you. The sights of Georgia are amazing and immerse you in the mysteries of ancient times.
And one of these sights is an ancient church in the southern part of eastern Georgia. The Church of Our Lady is a treasure of the cultural heritage of Georgia. Location of the church: the region of Kvemo Kartli, Tsalka municipality, the center of the village Dashbashi.
In the 19th century, the local Armenian population built a new church on the ruins of an ancient Georgian church. Nowadays this church is also in ruins and only one apse is left. According to the plan of the structure, the church is a hall-type building with an apse oriented to the east.
The roof is collapsed and the north facade of the church is completely destroyed. There used to be inscriptions on the walls of the church, which, unfortunately, have not survived to this day. There was also a stone with inscriptions in the churchyard.
In recent years, locals have been clearing the interior and exterior of the church. The architectural structure and building stones have survived to the east and north of the church. So you will definitely have something to see.
Have a great trip! And remember: the most beautiful places in Georgia are yet to come!

Очень красивое место, от церкви так и тянет древностью, средневековьем, есть в этом что-то привлекательно тёмное.
