Kobuleti is a beautiful city, which is located near Batumi.
In this city there is a large long embankment, there are children's attractions, a chic park, many cafes, restaurants and a museum of local lore.
Kobuleti is a small town 21 kilometers north of Batumi. Kobuleti received the status of a city in 1944. The main street of the city is named after the Georgian king David Agmashenebeli, which means “builder” in Georgian.
David Agmashenebeli united western and eastern Georgia, was the great-grandfather of the famous Queen Tamara.
Kobuleti is the second largest city in Adjara. Despite the fact that the city is young, Kobuleti has been inhabited for thousands of years. Historical monuments of the stone, ancient and feudal periods have been discovered in the vicinity. Kobuleti was also part of the ancient Colchian kingdom, amphorae and other clay artifacts of the 5th century BC were discovered. At that time, Colchis had close ties with ancient Greece, and later with Byzantium and the Kingdom of Pontus. All the discovered historical values can be seen in the Local History Museum of the city.
Kobuleti is a resort town. Urban buildings and houses start 5-10 meters from the sea beach.

The main entertainment center in Kobuleti is considered to be Tsitsinatela Park. You can also have a good time in the Mtirala National Park.
Ecological Reserve of Spain
You can see a completely unique natural area in the ecological reserve of Spain. Many people think that this is an ordinary swamp, but it is not so. A unique ecosystem has been preserved in these swamps. The surface of the swamps is covered with a 25 cm layer of white moss, which never goes under water. This moss is a plant that has survived to the present day since prehistoric times.
During migration, 122 species of migratory birds land on the swamps of Spain to rest.
In the swamps there are plants that are not characteristic of the subtropical zone. For example, the predatory duckweed plant, which feeds on mosquitoes, flies and other insects.

Church of the Ascension
It is definitely worth visiting the Church of the Ascension. The shrine is located in the southern part of the city. The church is a small stone building topped with a tower.
Church Introduction to the Church of the Most Holy Theotokos
We visited the Church of the Introduction to the Temple of the Most Holy Theotokos on Agmashenebeli Street. This church opened in 1997. It was painted by the iconographer John Babilodze.
The Byzantine Fortress of Peter
Between Kobuleti and Chakvi, on one of the hills in the village of Sahis Zori are the ruins of the amazingly beautiful and unique Byzantine fortress of Petra.
This is a whole historical and archaeological complex. It includes several ancient settlements and the church itself.
Tavisupleba Square
Walking around the city, you should definitely visit the main square of Kobuleti Tavisupleba. The square is decorated with two buildings, the Municipal Council building and the House of Culture, made in a futuristic style.
Kobuleti City Parks
To the north of the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary and George Palace is the Kobuleti City Park with paths among pine trees, a summer bandstand, children's attractions, an Artist's house and a dancing fountain.
In the seaside park Kobuleti there is a Sunset cafe, which we visited.
You can also go to the Miniature Park, to the Musicians' Park or to the trout farm.
Local History Museum
It is also worth visiting the Kobuleti Museum of Local Lore. This is a very interesting place for those who want to learn more about the history of Kobuleti and its surroundings.
It was opened in 2012. Among the exhibits you can see ancient household items, weapons, clothing and jewelry found during excavations in the vicinity of the city.

В закрытом помещении располагаются игровые автоматы и небольшой боулинг на четыре дорожки.
Парк начинает свою работу с 18.00 и продолжает до полуночи. Если на улице дождливая погода, то развлекательный центр закрывается и прекращает свою работу даже в закрытых помещениях.
