🏛 History of Dmanisi Sion: A Relic of Antiquity and Important Cultural Heritage

The church in Dmanisi is one of the five Zion churches in Georgia, built in the 6th–7th centuries in honor of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary. 🌿 The church is located on the territory of the ancient settlement of Dmanisi, which is near the village of Patara-Dmanisi in Kvemo Kartli.
