В санатории лечили туберкулёз. Климат приморский, умеренно влажный субтропический. Исцеляются также болезни сердца, костей, лёгких, суставов и нервы.
Николай Смецкой в начале двадцатого века открыл первый санаторий на побережье Черного моря! Я так понимаю, это здание запечатлено на фотографии. Огромное здание, затерянное среди густой, сочной растительности. Смотрится очень эпично!
