The Peach Garden in Telavi⬇️
Spring in Georgia is a blooming paradise, everything is in bloom here, and already in March, flowers start to bloom, and trees start to flower. And at one beautiful moment, we realized and understood that Georgia is the country of peaches.
Georgia is the country of peach gardens
Here, there are beautiful peach gardens that bloom, and we really wanted to see a blooming peach garden. We started looking and discovered a great large peach garden in Telavi, Kakheti, and decided to go there with our big friendly family. But when we contacted the owners of this amazing garden, we were disappointed. Because the cost there was comparable to the United Arab Emirates.
Here's what we planned to do there: we wanted to relax, have a photo and video session, try local cuisine. But after they sent us the price list, we thought twice about going.
Overview of the price of the Peach Garden in Telavi
- Villa for 5 people - cost 400 lari, approximately 130 dollars. For this amount, you can rent cool apartments in Tbilisi with large rooms, a jacuzzi, and other amenities.
- Lunch - cost 250 lari, which is quite expensive, but they ask for an additional 200 lari for a cheese tasting. In Georgia, you can buy cheese for 20 lari and eat it for a week.
- Lunch with a musical ensemble - 750-950 lari. So, lunch without a musical ensemble costs 250 lari, and with a musical ensemble - 950 lari! I wonder what kind of musicians should play for such money.
- Kvevri tour - 200 lari. For this amount, they will show you how wine is made, the whole process of production.
- Flight - 15 minutes for 200 lari, 30 minutes for 300 lari, 1 hour for 500 lari. I'm not sure what kind of flight it is - on a plane, a hang glider, or something else.
Roughly estimating, I will need around 2000 lari to see the peach blossom.
Georgia is not only a beautiful country but also has a hospitable people. Very often, when we made videos and talked about how it would be great to show something to our child, we received many responses with offers like, "Come to us and see it for yourself!" We kindly ask you to write to us if you know of any other interesting places in Georgia.
We will definitely go there and share our experience on our Madloba channel.
