Voices of the parades - a tour of Georgia's attractions in old Tbilisi.
There is probably no analogue of the "Voices of the Parade" excursion in any tourist program in the world. It takes place in old Tbilisi and during its holding tourists are introduced to the history of various buildings. Some of them remain residential buildings to this day.
"Voices of the parade" is the name of an amazing and rare excursion passing through the backyards of the Old Town and the historical streets of the Sololaki district. Tiflis (the old name of the city) of the 19th-20th century will appear before your eyes.
These are historical buildings with elaborate stucco molding on the outside, amazing painted entrances, stairs with hand-forged fences and marble steps, cozy courtyards in Italian style.
You will also learn the history of the most interesting structures, the fate of their owners, hear urban legends, and also be able to look behind closed doors. But we warn you right away, this is not for fans of "pop" places.
There will be no hackneyed attractions, which have been mentioned many times in various guidebooks. This is an interesting pastime for those who want to see and get to know the real Tbilisi, and not just its tourist part.
Most likely, other tourists will not meet on our way, as few people know about this beauty of these dilapidated streets.
The starting and ending point of the route is Freedom Square. We ask you to understand that it will not be possible to look at houses at all - many of them remain residential, not museum objects.
