Hiking in Georgia near Tbilisi - Kojor waterfalls and other attractions of Georgia.
It is possible to organize a walking route in Georgia very quickly, half an hour away from Tbilisi is the village of Kojori, near which we will visit the ancient fortress of Korogli and the Kojori waterfalls.
Most tourists who come to Georgia to enjoy the unique local nature have to additionally travel a long way inland. Of course, this makes sense.
But why drag yourself to three nine lands on such a short vacation, when there are places with fascinating beauty very close to Tbilisi? One of these places is located near the village of Kojori.
It is located just half an hour away from the Georgian capital, and what is important, you can get there on a budget using public transport.
The hike includes visits to the Korogli fortress, which is located on the top of the mountain. There is a gorgeous view of the surrounding area. Then the route flows through the forest, along the river with numerous waterfalls, some of which can boast a decent height.
Further along the route we will come across the Kabeni monastery, next to which we will arrange a halt. Having replenished our strength, having eaten the brake taken in advance, we will go further to the village of Kiketi, where our hike will end. From there, you can take a bus back to Tbilisi.
In the warmer months, you can swim in the river, so take swimming trunks and swimsuits with you.

Ещё большой плюс, что есть возможность на обратном пути сесть на автобус.
