Lost Ridge Inn

We are on a five-month trip around the world and spent two nights at this inn for a peaceful, romantic getaway. The location is beautiful and secluded, with fantastic meals. Both breakfast and dinner were great, and we highly recommend heading to the patio at the nearby hotel for sunset views (we took a walk up the road and then the dirt ramp past the tennis courts, which was much easier than going to the main road). That was the highlight of our stay.

Room and comfort:
- Our upstairs room was spacious and comfortable.
- There are winding stairs to get to the upper rooms, so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues.
- Housekeeping needs improvement — the drinking glasses in our room were dirty.

Noise and disturbances:
- The property often hosts business meetings and outside visitors who were loud during breakfast and dinner, which disrupted the peaceful atmosphere.
- Dogs barked at night, waking us up.
- There was strong sealant smell from nearby construction that made the balcony unusable all weekend. Workers were yelling at each other on the balcony on Friday and Saturday, creating more disturbance. We felt there was no need for them to use the balcony while guests were there.
- We left early due to the constant noise and smell.

Practical tips:
- A car is essential since the location is remote and you'll need it to get to town.
- If you're sensitive to noise, ask for an upstairs room and avoid the ground floor. Even the upstairs room was noisy.
- For a memorable sunset dinner, walk to the restaurant at Bodbe via the dirt ramp past the tennis courts. The food and views are fantastic.

Overall, the setting is lovely and the food is excellent, but the frequent loud business meetings, barking dogs, and construction made our stay less relaxing than we had hoped. With better noise management and housekeeping, this place could really improve.

Punti positivi: colazione varia e abbondante di alta qualità, giardino comune ben curato e piacevole, ristorante a breve distanza con lo stesso proprietario, dove si possono gustare piatti ben preparati e birre artigianali (consiglio la bionda e l'IPA).
La stanza va bene.
Suggerirei di pulire la stanza ogni giorno, almeno svuotando il cestino e sistemando il letto. Consiglio vivamente questo posto a chi ama la campagna e la tranquillità.

The rooms are quite small, lacking a fridge and TV. However, the hosts are outstanding, and the breakfast feels like a warm visit to your grandmother in the village. The grounds are beautifully maintained, with love for nature, dogs, and horses. The view is stunning.

We had a fantastic experience. The staff was really friendly, and the location is perfect for exploring the area.

Communication here is awful. I called two weeks ago and was given an email address to send my request. I also reached out to several managers through different phone numbers and messengers, and was assured someone would respond by Monday.

Now it's Thursday, and no one has contacted me. I do not recommend this place. It’s a waste of time and energy.

A nice spot to relax with an excellent restaurant.

Проезжая мимо, решили сделать остановку. Нас тепло встретили и рассказали о производстве, владельце, вкусах и ценностях этого ремесла. Всё на высшем уровне, совпадает с нашими взглядами. Процветания!

Мы забронировали тур по верхом на лошадях, и сам тур был замечательным. Персонал кафе был очень дружелюбным, но наш гид "Эген" вел себя крайне грубо и угрюмо, называя нас неопытными, хотя на сайте указано, что опыт не имеет значения. Честно говоря, поездка была бы в десять раз лучше с простым дружелюбным отношением.

The stay was decent, but there are a few areas for improvement. The ground floor room near the breakfast area was small and quite noisy, so earplugs would be a good idea. The signs were also lacking, making it hard to find the parking lot from the main road and the hotel/check-in area. On a positive note, the service was friendly and the breakfast was enjoyable and varied. Overall, it was an okay stay, but I've had better value experiences in Georgia for a similar price.
