This place is a hidden gem that truly embodies Georgian hospitality and tradition. Although I didn’t spend the night, my visit for a traditional lunch and wine tour was unforgettable and definitely worth it.

From the moment I entered, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The lunch was a culinary delight—everything was made with great care, and the flavors were rich and genuine. You can taste the freshness in the food, and it’s impressive to know they make their own jams and treats right there.

The highlight was my time with the host, Michel. He was exceptional—friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about what he does. He guided us through the winemaking facilities and explained the traditional Georgian method of using Qvevri, which was fascinating to see in person.

The wine tasting afterward was wonderful. Both the white and red wines were remarkable, with a unique character and depth that comes from traditional methods. Each sip felt like a taste of history.

Michel and the entire team are incredibly welcoming and make you feel at home. If you’re a wine lover or just looking for an authentic meal in a lovely setting, I highly recommend visiting this place. It was a highlight of my trip!

We discovered this place by chance while on a motorcycle tour along the Silk Road. It's a hidden gem that's easy to reach. The family who runs it is very welcoming and attentive. The younger staff spoke English, and the service was top-notch. We spent two nights here. The gardens are well-maintained, and there's a nice pool. During our stay, we met a group of motorcyclists from various countries returning from a guided tour. The area around is stunning, and there's a small shop and bakery just down the road.

There's also a fantastic variety of local wines to try! The food was amazing and all homemade. Overall, this is a wonderful place to stay.

Amazing experience. Spacious, clean rooms and outstanding food! After traveling in Georgia for 10 days and having tasted wonderful dishes, the traditional mtsvida stood out as the freshest here. The food alone is worth the detour, even if you don't need a room. They also give you a tour of the family wine cellar. Definitely coming back.

Отель в Икалто — место, где гостеприимство чувствуется во всем. Особенно хочется отметить атмосферу дружелюбия и заботу о каждом приезжем. Остаться голодным невозможно — национальные блюда здесь просто отменные. Местечко уютное, но хочется немного больше удобств в номерах. Отличный двор для вечерних прогулок под звездами. Подводя итог, каждое пребывание здесь оставляет теплое впечатление и желание вернуться.

Погружение в атмосферу спокойствия и красоты - вот что я почувствовала. Где-то между восхищением и кротким счастьем затерялись все заботы. Место, где каждое утро начинается с удовольствия и новые краски приходят в жизнь. Уже знаю, куда вернусь снова.
