The staff here are nice and always willing to help. I’ve never had to wait long, and many of them can speak English.

They closed my bank account for no reason, and I ended up losing $500.

Great service. The woman who assisted me with my banking application was very kind, professional, and friendly. The blonde lady at the front desk was also incredibly patient and helped me with my first deposit, even though she had a lot to do.

I had a very disappointing experience with this bank. In 2023, I was denied a personal account because they didn't seem to understand self-employment and online income. After finally managing to open a business account in 2026, I was again turned down for a POS terminal for my Pilates studio, even though I submitted all the necessary documents. Their decision-making feels random and lacks transparency. The bank struggles to accommodate anything beyond the simplest, traditional business models. It's frustrating for such a prominent bank.

The building was constructed in 1899 as the residence of the Military Governor. It features Renaissance-Classic architecture, complete with a dome, balcony, and decorative elements. The walls are adorned with saw-tooth patterns and Corinthian columns. This site is a part of Ajara's cultural heritage and is a significant historical landmark in Batumi.

I was a little concerned due to the reviews, but I’ve visited multiple times recently and never had to wait. The staff is consistently friendly, kind, and patient. I’m pleased with my decision so far.

I had an excellent experience with this bank! I successfully opened a non-resident bank account at this branch. As a Filipino citizen with EU residency, I completed my account application online and then went to Batumi to verify my identity and documents. The woman who assisted me was incredibly patient and clearly explained everything I needed to do. Thank you so much! I also used some basic Georgian phrases to help clarify my name, and it was beneficial, but not necessary. The self-service machines for cash deposits and withdrawals were very user-friendly, along with other services available once my account and mobile app were set up. Those who left negative reviews might have been impatient or rude. I will definitely return to this branch for any future needs. The staff is knowledgeable, polite, and very patient! Big thanks!
