The Resource Center for the Prevention of Substance Abuse and HIV/AIDS "Bemoni" in Telavi, operating since 1998, is part of the Bemoni Public Union (BPPU), a Georgian non-governmental non-profit organization. The center brings together experts and resources to combat drug addiction and HIV/AIDS.

The main goals of the Bemoni Resource Center include helping youth, school staff, parents and other community members in the prevention of drug addiction and HIV/AIDS, as well as in promoting a healthy lifestyle. The center develops and provides specialized services focused on preventing addiction and the risk of HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections (STIs), in accordance with the needs of the local population.

The Bemoni Center works directly with local groups and individuals to mobilize communities to address addiction and HIV/AIDS issues. The organization provides technical support to youth movements, community groups and media professionals. In addition, the center provides training to service providers, community members and educators throughout the country.

The center develops and offers policy and strategic recommendations that help community leaders and government officials find more effective ways to solve drug problems. All initiatives and programs are based on research results.

The Bemoni Resource Center in Telavi also includes a Consultation and Prevention Center for Drug Addiction Problems, an Information and Training Center and an Expert Center for Mental Health and HIV/AIDS. The entire range of services is aimed at improving public health and well-being.
