Grmagele metro station is an important part of the Akhmeteli-Varketili line of the Tbilisi metro. Located between the Guramishvili and Didube stations, it serves as an important transport hub in the city. This station is named after the area in which it is located.
Architecturally, the station stands out for its interiors: the ceiling is decorated with corrugated metal sheets, decorated with rows of fluorescent lamps, and the track walls are lined with light brown marble. A special accent is the bas-relief on the blank end wall. The station was opened on November 28, 1985 and offers passengers one exit in a northerly direction.

To pay for travel in the Tbilisi metro, the MetroMoney plastic card system is used, which is also applicable on city buses.
