  • Description

Didube metro station is one of two ground stations on the Akhmeteli-Varketili line of the Tbilisi metro. It is located between the Gotsiridze and Grmagele stations and offers a convenient transfer to the Didube railway platform.

Opened on January 11, 1966, the Didube station took its name from the district and railway station of the same name. Until November 16, 1985, it was the final station of the line. In its design, Didube is reminiscent of above-ground stations of the Moscow metro, such as Izmailovskaya.

Это место в Тбилиси оставляет желать лучшего: грязь, перекопка, постоянный шум и гам. Не самое приятное место для посещения.
