Didube metro station. Akhmeteli-Varketili line of the Tbilisi metro

Didube metro station is one of two ground stations on the Akhmeteli-Varketili line of the Tbilisi metro. It is located between the Gotsiridze and Grmagele stations and offers a convenient transfer to the Didube railway platform.
Opened on January 11, 1966, the Didube station took its name from the district and railway station of the same name. Until November 16, 1985, it was the final station of the line. In its design, Didube is reminiscent of above-ground stations of the Moscow metro, such as Izmailovskaya.
Operating time:
- Opening hours: Daily from 6:00 to 00:00.
- Traffic interval: During rush hour - about 2 minutes; in the evening - about 10 minutes.
Payment system:
The Tbilisi Metro offers a convenient system of cashless payment for travel through MetroMoney plastic cards, which are also valid on city buses.
- Cards are available at all metro stations at counters with MS+ symbols.
- Card cost: 2 GEL (refundable deposit).
- Trip price: 50 tetri.
- One card can be used by several passengers.
- The cards are valid on cable cars, but not on the funicular.
- Please note: MetroMoney cards are valid only in Tbilisi.
