  • Description

Delisi metro station, originally known as "Gotsiridze" in honor of the engineer Victor Gotsiridze, is an intermediate single-vault shallow station on the Saburtalinskaya Line of the Tbilisi Metro. Opened on September 15, 1979, the station is located in the Delisi district, where it got its name.

Delisi station was renamed Viktor Gotsiridze between 1995 and 2007, but in 2011 this name was given to another station. After the opening of the Vazha-Pshavela station in 2000 and until the opening of the State University station, Delisi served as a station with a zone turnover. Until July 18, 2018, the station had a name in Russian, which was dismantled in accordance with the bilingual Georgian-English standard.
