Tbilisi Chamber Theater
- Description
Tbilisi Chamber Theater in Tbilisi is a unique theatrical space located in the historical part of the capital of Georgia at st. Kote Akhazi, 4. The theater was created on the initiative of artistic director Georgy Akhazav, who turned the basement into a chamber theater hall with 60 seats. Over the course of three years, a complete reconstruction of the building was carried out, which made it possible to create a comfortable and original space for performances.
The Tbilisi Chamber Theater offers audiences innovative productions and is a significant platform for young Georgian actors. One of the first premieres here was the production of the play “The Tempest” by William Shakespeare. Performances begin at 20:00, and the project itself is being implemented with the support of the Tbilisi City Hall, the Ministry of Culture and the Art Lab Foundation.
